Gerber Export Guides
Before exporting your Gerber files, make sure to check out the guides below to ensure Gerber compatibility with the V-One software:
Gerbers from EAGLE CAD:
For EAGLE users, we have a pre-configured CAM file for exporting your gerbers:
- Download and extract the Voltera CAM file.
- Open your board in EAGLE.
- Run the CAM Processor - Navigate to File>CAM Processor.
- Within the CAM Processor window, select File>Open>Job, and select the Voltera CAM file.
- Click 'Process Job'. This will generate the gerbers and save them in the same directory as your .brd file.
We also recommend using the Voltera Design Rule Check to check your design for compatibility issues.
Compatible Gerber File Extensions
A Gerber export produces numerous files, the V-One software uses the file extension to determine what board layer the file belongs to.
|Top||gtl, gbr, top, cmp, art|
|Bottom||gbl, bottom, sol, art|
|Solder Paste||gtp, gbp, sts, gbr, art|
|Drill||txt, drl, drill|
If your CAD tool uses a different file extension, you may simply rename your output file to an appropriate extension and load it.
Pro tip: If you load a *.GBL or *.GBP file, the software will automatically mirror it in the X axis.
Substrate and Templates
We offer several types of substrate and templates. Incorporating their dimensions and features into your design will improve your V-One experience. Visit our store to view them all.
EAGLE Library and Design Blocks
We have developed a Library and a set of Design Blocks for EAGLE that contains parts for all of the templates and substrates in our store. Using it is easy, just drop in the template as you would any other part and away you go.

Other Community Libraries
We're hoping to release libraries for other CAD tools as well. If you're able to help with this, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
